Lecture. David Novack (engineer, musician, PhD in Media Arts) presents work and research on sound design, audiovisual practice and media arts.

    With degrees in engineering and music and a PhD in Media Arts, David Novack is an award‑winning sound designer and re‑recording mixer for film and performance. Highlights include work on feature films and theatre productions, and practice that spans sound, film and installation. Former lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania; currently teaching and researching sound and cinema at Lusófona University for Humanities and Technology (Lisbon).

    YOU+PEA is the architectural design studio of Sandra Youkhana and Luke Caspar Pearson. Their work explores the integration of videogame technologies into architectural design, leading conversations on how games can engage new participants in the design of cities. YOU+PEA’s work operates between architectural interventions and virtual worlds, developing critical theory alongside creative practice to provoke conversations about the physical world.
