Engineer & Technologist

Gilles received his MSc and PhD in engineering technology from KU Leuven. His research focuses on low‑power wireless technologies for IoT devices. A member of the DRAMCO research group, he designs machine‑type communications and embedded systems. Gilles also runs hands‑on tutorials introducing sensors and microcontrollers.

Architect & Researcher

Corneel is an architect and postdoctoral researcher investigating the impact of emerging technologies on the culture and practice of architecture. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Ghent and a PhD from RMIT University Melbourne. He currently teaches and researches at KU Leuven’s Faculty of Architecture, co-founded the digital fabrication lab MMlab and is part of the Fieldstations network.

Liselotte Vroman

Liselotte Vroman

Architect & Postdoctoral Researcher

Liselotte is an architect and postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven. After working as an independent architect she pursued a doctoral project titled “Make Room for Play,” exploring the role of the moving body between thinking and making. She contributes to interdisciplinary research groups and teaches workshops on the sensory body.

Architect & Media Artist

Joris is an architect and researcher speculating on the Anthropocene through software, hardware and media technologies. His work has been exhibited at MoMA New York, London Design Festival and the Venice Biennale. He teaches internationally and develops solutions spanning data‑driven design, machine learning, web/software development and visualisation.
