Creatieve Makers is an initiative from KU Leuven and LUCA School of Arts to create a trans‑disciplinary collective practice between architects, engineers and artists to future‑proof our disciplines for the next decade. We cultivate a space for experimentation where process is as important as the end result.
Defining what the project can be, based on the diverse backgrounds and skills of the students, is part of the challenge. The requests serve as inspiration more than assignment. Students explore and develop ideas up to prototype or demo level with freedom to interpret the topics in their own way.
